Its population is over 100,000. It is situated at higher altitude then Lahore. BRB Canal passes at north west side of this town. With its steep and slopy old streets, it enlightens a culture of Sikh and Hindu architecture. It has 100% Muslim Population. There exist a problem of clean water here. It is connected with rail and road with the rest of neighbouring towns. Kite flying is a festivity at Eid. ==History== The name Raja Jang is a variation of the name of Raja Jinak. Raja Jinak was a famous person once lived in Raja Jang under British rule. Raja Jang is a historic town with historic streets, mansions and a couple of castles. After 1947, sikhs and hindus left behind havailiees and mansions.
